MEXICO CITY NIGHTLIFE

Mexico City Entertaiment

When the sun sets, Mexico City turns into a giant kaleidoscope reflecting the lights and the colors of a vibrant city. The different districts of Mexico City overflow with fun places to explore your liking for the nighttime, being Polanco, San Angel, Coyoacan, Condesa, and La Zona Rosa mainly the spots where most of the city ’s nightlife happens.

La Condesa boasts an impressive variety of restaurants and bars. Here you can hop from one place to another since everything is within walking distance.
The Zona Rosa although it is no longer the main meeting point, can still offer much on Friday and Saturday nights. Countless bars and discos can accompany your walk on Niza, Florencia, and Hamburgo streets.

With restaurants like Hard Rock Cafe, Polanco is the most beloved zone for night entertainment in town. Among a great assortment of amusement opportunities you will find larger hotels that have adjoining discos or lobby bars, where live music is a tradition.

Mexico City features a vast range of music choices to meet all tastes, from classical concerts, opera, philharmonic orchestras, romantic trios, chamber music, jazz clubs to Mariachi music, Flamenco, Cuban and salsa nightspots, and last but not least, loud all-night discos.

Palacio de Bellas Artes (Palace of Fine Arts) hosts concerts, operas and other remarkable appearances, and The National Auditorium stages concerts where you can listen the most popular Mexican and international performers.

An unbreakable tradition in Mexico City is to stop at Plaza Garibaldi, northwest of the Zocalo, especially if you really want to experience the Mexican spirit. Here mariachi artists enliven the night taking requests while you enjoy Mexican beer and tequila. Norteño (country-style) musicians and white-clad jarocho bands (Veracruz-style) also play their rhythms.

Mexico City is in fact a hedonistic paradise that will keep you busy the whole night.
